Refund Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

We want you to try LensNote with confidence. If it is not the right fit, this policy explains when you can get your money back and how to ask for it.

1. First-purchase guarantee

You are eligible for a full refund of your first purchase (a Pro or Team subscription) when both conditions are met:

  • the refund request is made within 7 days of your first purchase, and
  • your account has processed under 60 minutes of video or audio since that purchase.

This guarantee applies once per customer, to the first paid purchase on the account. It exists so you can evaluate LensNote on real recordings without risk.

2. What is not covered

  • Renewal payments for ongoing subscriptions (cancel before renewal instead).
  • Requests made more than 7 days after the first purchase.
  • Accounts that have processed 60 minutes or more since the purchase.
  • Add-on packs that have been partially or fully consumed.
  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service.

Where the law of your country gives you broader mandatory refund rights, those rights are unaffected by this policy.

3. How to request a refund

Open Billing in the web app and use Request a refund, or email [email protected] from your account email with a short note about why LensNote did not work for you (this helps us improve).

Requests are reviewed within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe; depending on your bank, the funds typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

4. After a refund

When a refund is approved, the paid subscription ends and your account moves to the free plan. Your notes remain viewable under free-plan limits; original video files follow the free plan’s 14-day media retention described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Questions

Unsure whether you qualify? Ask us first at [email protected] — we are happy to check your usage before you decide.
